How Our Pricing Works

Routiine LLC uses value-based pricing, not hourly billing. Every project starts with a written scope document that defines the architecture, deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price. You know exactly what you are paying for before a single line of code is written. There are no surprise invoices, no scope creep charges, and no ambiguity about what is included. If requirements change mid-project, we document the addition, estimate the cost, and get your approval before any additional work begins.

Our three tiers are designed to match the most common engagements we ship for small business owners and SaaS founders in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Launch tier covers full websites with a headless CMS, AI-powered lead routing, and local SEO architecture — built on Nuxt.js with analytics configured from day one. The Platform tier is for founders building full SaaS products — complete with database architecture, authentication, payment processing, real-time features, and Claude AI integration throughout the application. The System tier is a complete operating system for your business — multi-role SaaS, AI operations, mobile + web, and a formal ownership-transfer package at the end.

Every tier includes the same quality standard: ten mandatory quality gates, a security review, automated testing, full documentation, and 30-day post-launch support. The difference between tiers is complexity and scope, not quality. A Launch engagement receives the same engineering discipline as a System build. We do not cut corners on smaller projects to subsidize larger ones.

Monthly retainers are available at every tier for businesses that need ongoing development, SEO improvements, AI feature iteration, or maintenance. Retainers are billed monthly with no long-term contracts required. You can scale up, scale down, or pause at any time. Most of our Dallas-area clients start with a project engagement and transition to a retainer after launch to keep their digital presence evolving.

Frequently Asked Pricing Questions

Is there a setup fee or deposit required?

Every project begins with a 50% deposit upon signing the scope document. This deposit secures your spot in our build schedule and covers the initial architecture, design, and planning work. The remaining 50% is due at project completion, before the final deployment and handoff. There is no separate setup fee — the deposit is part of the total project cost, not an additional charge. For retainer engagements, we bill monthly in advance with no long-term contract required.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers (ACH), credit cards, and wire transfers. All invoicing is handled through our business checking account at Bluevine. For international clients, we can accommodate wire transfers in USD. We do not currently accept cryptocurrency or payment plans beyond the standard 50/50 split for project work.

Can I upgrade my plan after the project starts?

Yes. If scope expands during a project, we document the additional work, estimate the cost, and get your written approval before proceeding. Upgrades from Growth to Pro are common as founders realize they need more capability than originally scoped. The architecture is designed to scale, so the transition is clean. You are never locked into a tier — the pricing tiers are starting points, not ceilings.

Do you offer refunds if the project is not what I expected?

The scope document exists to prevent this situation entirely. Every deliverable, feature, and milestone is defined in writing before work begins. If there is a dispute about whether a deliverable matches the agreed scope, we resolve it by referencing the scope document. We have never had a client request a refund because the scoping process ensures alignment before code is written. The 30-day post-launch support window also covers any issues that surface after deployment.

How does the monthly retainer work?

Monthly retainers are billed at the beginning of each month and include a defined number of development hours, SEO work, content updates, and maintenance tasks. You receive a monthly summary of all work completed. Retainers can be paused with 30 days notice and resumed at any time without penalty. Most clients start with a project engagement and move to a retainer after launch to keep their site or application evolving. Retainer hours do not roll over month to month — they represent dedicated capacity, not a bank of credits.
